So here are some more!!! In case we don't have enough already.  I am having so much fun creating these little animals you can't half tell??  How many have I done lately.  I'm on a roll.  I found some Magnetic tape yesterday and thought it would be a nice idea to use on the back of them - turn them into fridge magnets with a clip.  Also you could just use the animal on a card - I will get around to making one and showing you soon.

Remember that if you wanted to order this kit of Five animals you can do that here on the right if you scroll down there are two other kits as well that you can order.  Just put in the description for me which one you are after eg "Puppy" "Ladybeetle" or "Monkey".

Just click on the Buy it Now button below and these gorgeous animals are yours to make yourself at home with FREE postage worldwide.

Guest stamper Bruno Bertucci!! It has been a while!

I just couldn't WAIT to show this one off!!  How clever is that husband of mine, I tell you what I have to leave him in my stampin room more often.  I thought this was such an orginal different card and you know what the sad thing about this is............. I had to pull this out of my paper bin! Thats right, Bruno wasn't happy with the card and had thrown it out!  I was not going to leave that there.  So here it is on my blog now!!

It can be a challenge to know what cards to give teenagers and I tell you what wouldn't this just be perfect?? And for all those parents out there who's kids are asking for Iphones - here is the answer! lol

Next time Bruno said he is going to round the edges of the "buttons" but I think it is just a fantastic card.

Give him some blog love and feel free to leave LOTS of comments.  I want this man of mine to come to the convention in Sydney with me............. don't you think he should??

Free Stamp sets!!

I am just so excited that I can't contain myself!!  I recieved a box on Friday of SIX free stamp sets!!! It is part of an incentive that Stampin up have for new Demonstrators.  They set different goals for us to achieve and they are achievable and out of the 15 sets you can get, I recieved NINE!  So I am very happy with that.  Here is what arrived today -

And this is what I got a few months ago -

I must say that I feel very happy to be given such an amazing gift for my hard work.  What a better present could there be than free stamps.  I have lots of people to thanks for helping me out though - Ange Dickins for being such a supportive Upline Demonstrator, and to Annette, Carolina and Katherine who all have joined up to be part of my team.  BIG THANKS. To my fellow inspirational Stampers like Bec Gomez and Tasharni and also meeting people like Sue Madex (my granny upline) Nikki Sadler and Claire Daly who have inspired me and given me great advice and ideas for building a successful stampin up business.

So there is my thanks for a great start to my first six months with Stampin up - I must say I never thought that I would even achieve one of the Stampin Starts, but to achieve two and I went away overseas for a whole month in the middle of it, really does surprise me.  Watch this space for Carolina, I can see her becoming our up and coming star in the stampin world, I may be biased as she is my recruit but i'm allowed to be.

Thanks again!

Loving these hearts!

On a roll!! So here is my other heart card for the night, I was very excited to use a few things that I haven't got to use before, one was the circle cutter (you can find one on page 22 of the summer mini) and the other was the heartfelt stamp which is from the heartfelt thanks set.
I used rasberry tart Dsp, and rose red ink and cardstock.  It was so hard to show the colours right, it kept looking like it was real red!

Anyway let me know what you think,

Summer Mini Sample

Hello all my fellow Stampers!! So sorry I have been off the blogging scene lately, I have actually been on a bit of a fitness regime.  I started bootcamp with my husband and have been going to the gym at least twice a week and it has taken a the little bit of time that I had for my blogging.  But here I am and hopefully won't leave it so long next time.

I made this card using the stamp set I {heart} Hearts from the summer mini catalogue, I have used the ink colours of Perfect Plum, Pretty in Pink and Rose Red and cardstock used is Perfect Plum, Whisper White and Basic Black.

I have also used my cuttlebug for the beautiful embossed design in the background and my bow easy for the most perfect bow!!! I love that little tool.

Have been very busy with a few workshops and also tried out the werribee market last week, had a fantastic time and one very excited lady won a door prize with over $150 worth of goodies in it!! She was wrapt when I called her to let her know she had won.

So this is us all at about 8am on a Saturday morning! It was so much fun, the next one is on the 13 Feb 2010 and we can't wait for that!  Between all of us we looked quite professional, thanks to ange for our fantastic gazebo, we would have been soaked wet from the shower that happened around 10am if it wasn't for that fantastic addition.  Also Annette got the most amazing card stand from a friend who found it on the side of the road!! It looks amazing, its very heavy, but tell you what we looked great.

So there are a few specials that many of you may know about but just in case here is an update - we have the Summer mini out from December 2009 to March 2010.  Some fantastic products in there!  CLICK HERE to have a look at the mini or click on the icon on the side of my blog. There are some fantastic products in there included the stamp set I used for my card above that will be around for a limited time.

Also for the first time Stampin up is having and Inventory Sale!  There are many fantastic stamp sets at up to 50% off the normal price.  To see the list and take advantage of the sale CLICK HERE and if you wanted to order anything please just email or call me. Doesn't matter where you live I can deliever the products straight to your door anywhere in Australia.

So there are a few of the exciting things happening in the Stampin Up world, Sale-a-bration is also around the corner and we are looking forward to getting free stamp sets thats for sure!

Animal Punch Art Bookmark Kits are available

I mentioned in my last post that the animal punch art bookmark kits were a huge hit at paperific, with many asking if they could get one after they sold out in about two hours.  So as requested here they are for you to purchase but with the extra addition of the lion that wasn't in the kit at paperific.

The kit includes the cut out punches and jumbo paperclips to make ALL five animals for $10 including postage.  It doesn't include the pop up glue dots or tombow glue to stick the clip and animal together but if you were requiring these there are available for purchase from me as well.  To purchase any of these items please contact me - click here

Thank you all so much for your great feedback and your interest in these cute little animals.  Remember that if you wanted to make as many as you like and required the punches needed to make them that you can contact me for those, they would be a great hit to sell at markets, school fetes or fundraisers, or as an end of year gift for teachers students plus much much more.

Thanks for dropping in and having a look, can't wait to send out the kits to all of you eager, crafty people.

Paperific

As many of you know, today I was at the Paperific craft show at Flemington Showgrounds promoting Stampin' Up! and its products.  I was working with Nikki Sadler, Kathryn Lowe, and Di Gill.  We had such a great time together.  Here is our stand -

It was such a busy day I didn't end up going to the toilet and lunch was a nut bar that I had got in the morning just in case it got busy.  Good think I also brought some V drink to keep me going too.  I think around 12pm I lost it completely and the girls would agree with that.

This is all of us girls at the beginning of the day while still fresh -

I can't believe what a hit the little punches kits were I made up!!  To all of those ladies who are waiting to order some of the animal punches kits - I will have them up and running shortly for you to order.  Thanks for the great feedback.

I also met a lovely lady who asked are you kylie?? as in Kylie Bertucci??? and I replied yes......  and she said oh my goodness I love your tiramisu recipe!!! lol.  I had a great laugh.  The last thing I expected someone to bring up at a craft show.

So watch this space.......... Hopefully in the next few days the animal punches kits with be revealed so all can see the kits that sold out in about 2hours!

A Little Watering Can

I was totally inspired by Carolina to do this one, she kept saying its really easy and I thought, well why not give it a go!! Plus I was on hold with Telstra for about an hour so I put them on loud speaker and off I went cutting and gluing.

The template and tutorial you can find on Split Coast stampers just click on there to see it.

I didn't use any stamp sets but I did use the technique that Ange showed us at the Regionals.  Very cute flowers Ange!

The DSP was from the Hostess bundle last year, so I thought why not use some of that.

Oh and what do you think of the new look??? I had to change the pink, I was so over it.  I feel much more classy now.  One can only try.

Thanks for stopping by

Chocolate Butterfly

So I am back for another play with Keesh, this time with a wonderful sketch!  It was great to work with I enjoyed it very much.  Here is the sketch-

And here is what I came up with -

I really wanted to use some stamp sets that hadn't seen ink once, and that I did! The gallery stamp set from the spring mini got a go and the say it with scallops also got a look in too.

I got to use the chocolate patterns DSP for the first time, I thought it went quite well with our butterfly from the great friends stamp set.  And to finish it off I used the sentiment from the thank you kindly stamp set.

The cardstock is Close to Cocoa, textured Close to Cocoa, Textured Chocolate Chip and Very Vanilla

Ink - Riding Hood Red, Chocolate Chip.

Techniques - sponging.

Thanks for looking!!

Inspired by Spring - And a lady's skirt at the shop!

I know, I know, it seems a little strange, but I was basically stalking this lady in Coles yesterday - I wanted the colours from her skirt. And when I finally thought that I was busted I told her that I was going to make a card out of the colours from her skirt and she looked at me with this are you psycho and why are you following me look. So I got out of there fast, I had what I needed!

With the stunning day in Melbourne today it just MADE me want to make this card. Unusual colours for me, but I love it!! It has like a retro feel to it. Have I mentioned that I love my cuttlebug?? You can tell it’s a new item, I feel like a card isn't complete now unless it has a bit of dry embossing on it. Can you see it in the photo??

Cardstock - Taken with Teal, Whisper White

Ink - Taken with Teal, Yoyo Yellow, Only Orange, Chocolate Chip, Basic Black

Accessories - Cuttlebug, 1/4" Black Grosgrain Ribbon, Turquoise Rhinestone Brad.

So hope the rest of you Melbournite's got to enjoy the day today. It was 25C and not a cloud in the sky, and a slight breeze. Don't think you can get much better really.

Thanks for looking and thanks for all your comments girls, it means a lot to me!!

My first Recessed Window Card

Well I did it!  I have wanted to do one of these cards for AGES, but was really scared of it.  Now that I have my trusty score-pal I must say it made the challenge seem so much smaller.  Honestly if any of you girls haven't had a go of making one of these you just HAVE to do it.  It was so much fun to make and something a little different to our usual cards. I think you will see a few more recessed window cards coming up.....

Go to Lynn's tutorial - CLICK HERE and it will give you all the info that you will need. Only pain for us Aussies is that its in Inches rather than cm.  But you can work around it.

In this card I used Parisan Breeze DSP, Great Friend stamp set, creamy caramel, chocolate chip and baja breeze ink.

Cardstock - sahara sand, very vanilla.

I also used my new victorian cuttlebug embossing folder for the background. (can you tell from the photo??)

Go and have some fun and try something new!  If you do try one just let us know in the comments and we'll come and have a look.  Go on give it a go.

Another Anniversary Card

Its a bit full on this card, but I am happy with the end result! Got to use the cuttlebug again, I must say I am very happy with that purchase.  Should be getting all sorts of new goodies for it next week.  Will post it and show you!

I also got to use my scorepal for this card it made things so much easier!  The black that is layered underneath at the front is the actual card.  I have just added the red scalloped layer on after.  Do you understand what I mean??

I also used the Always stamp set, a frame from the Gallery stamp set and the "together" from the Definitions set.

Cardstock - Whisper White, Real Red and Basic Black.

Thanks for all your comments girls.  And for those of you that have started following my blog lately I have never posted so many posts in one weekend EVER! So don't get used to it. lol.  You probably won't hear from me for a month now.  Just kidding!

Thanks for looking

A simple Card for Sympathy

I have been meaning to give this card to a friend at work who's father passed away from cancer.  Will hopefully get to it to her on Monday.  I just kept it really simple, probably the most simple card I have ever made.  I wasn't going to post it on my blog.  But there is something about it that I wanted to share.  Maybe just to remember how we should appreciate each day, our health and our family???

Thanks for stopping by.

This one is for TWO challenges. Inspirations and Pals Paper Arts

While I am on an absolute roll with my creativity this weekend, why not post another creation!!  I am in shock with myself.  I should have cleaned up the stamp room so long ago it has given me a new creative mojo.

I did my first inspiration challenge on the previous post and then I went and had a look at everyone elses.  I don't know about you, but when I am doing a challenge I don't like to look at anyones first so that it doesn't corrupt my thinking!  I second guess myself and it gets me all confused as to what to do.  So I posted mine then had a look at some of the others.  Here is what inspired us -

Amy's is just adorable and Kirsty's really inspired me click on their names to see their creations.  I have had a art pad there for ages that Ange Dickins gave me to decorate and have never got around to it.  Well today I got around to it.  Here it is-

As I said it is very much inspired by Kirsty's so I can't claim really much at all!! But it was great fun and I am so happy that I got it done. I thought that I may as well put it in for Pals Paper Arts challenge as well, while I am in the challenge mood.  This week is Anything But A Card Challenge  So here it is.

A few of us girls are going to the werribee market in December, what do you think girls?? Between some of these, the candles and our cards I think we will make a killing. lol.  More to spend on more stamp sets.

I also have to thank Keesh (we are on nickname basis now that she commented on my last post) for the motivation to get my Organic Outlines out too I think it had some dust on it from lack of use.

You should have heard my husband from the other room when he saw a message on my post from Makeesha! It was too funny and he is too cute.  Its like if you get a comment from Mary Fish its like someone famous has come to visit you.  I wouldn't know what that feels like, only my husband has got one of her comments on this card - click here.  It is an amazing card though I'll give him that.

Thanks for looking

Inspiration Challenge number 14

My first inspiration challenge!! Hooray I really love Makeesha Byl's blog it has some great ideas.  This is one of them.  Thanks to Carolina for inspiring me to do one, go have a look at hers I just love it!

So here is what we are inspired by, this gorgeous bed spread!

And here is what I came up with -

Even though the canvas background stamp has retired, I just had to use it for the background of the Upsy Daisy as it just looks like the sheets in the picture! lol.

I think that most have gone with taken with teal and kiwi kiss, but i did the pacific point and old olive instead.  Then the basic grey, baja breeze, whisper white, basic black, and some urban dsp.

I told you that cleaning my stamp room has given me creative flow.  How many cards have I made in two days.  Like five, I still have to post the other two.

Anyway, let me know what you think, you know that I love comments
